Two and a bit years ago I was stuck at home on bedrest whilst pregnant with my first son. I started reading blogs and soon decided that blogging looked like a great way to keep my mind active on maternity leave.

My personal blog was born. To begin with I mostly wrote about motherhood, babies and maternity leave but once I went back to work I started to add more posts about education. As Little B got older I began to feel unsure about sharing so many things about our life, so I decided to turn my personal blog into a private journal to share with him when he’s older and to keep this blog going as a place to talk about education.

I teach in a large special school for children with multi sensory impairments and profound and complex needs. I work with our very youngest class and I love combining Early Years practise with the more general special education approaches. This blog is a place to ramble, share ideas and resources and hopefully join in with the amazing SEN teaching community that exists in cyber-space!
